Building an active party membership is key to our future success and I'm very keen to contribute to this process. Personally, I am very focused on local politics, and since the general election will pass soon, we will have two years before the next one: an excellent oportunity to build up our presence in Edinburgh.
Many people in our city care about green issues, and my goal is to reach them - currently inactive party members and non-members all the same. We will keep working towards this through events and local campaigns on green issues: social justice, environment, active travel, public transport, greenspaces, grassroots democracy, and so on. It will be a pleasure to join the committee again this year.

I've been a member of the party for almost 3 years and I've been an active member of the branch committee (as part of the campaigns group), and in by local sub-branch, in this last year. I also have campaining experience from the last local elections.
Before that, I was active in the IWGB union, helping organize gig workers in Edinburgh. I also gained a lot of experience in organising events/engaging members at the Ocean Advocates at Edinburgh Uni. As their Secretary for two years, I helped organise more than 30 in-person and online events of different types (academic, campaigning, fundraising, social, and others).
