Why would you like to be elected to the role(s) you are standing for?
I've held roles on branch committee for the last 4 years - I was Branch Co-Convenor for 2 years and have also been Access/Inclusion Officer. I spent the last year as one of our Campaigns Officers - it was quite the year. I really enjoy working with the committee and like mixing up the roles I do to keep my contribution fresh as well as learning new skills and building my party experience.
What skills, knowledge and life experience would you bring to the role(s) you are standing for?
I'm standing for Welfare & Conduct Officer this year as I think the branch has really missed having this support when our experienced WCO had to step down. I've led multiple teams - some of them global - in my working life which means I'm used to working with discretion, tact and diplomacy with lots of different people - all important skills for this role. I'm a good listener and always keen to find constructive solutions for problems. I think this approach, alongside my committee experience, will help me to be successful in the role.
