Saving Comiston Farmhouse

This motion instructs the Edinburgh Branch Committee to support the bid by
CHOISS Edinburgh (Cohousing in Southern Scotland) to purchase Comiston Farmhouse
from the City of Edinburgh Council, either by Community Asset Transfer or via
the usual sale process, in order to establish a cohousing community.
Reason
We - CHOISS, seek to avoid the sale of this property to a developer/the highest bidder. Instead we seek to establish an intentional community who will refurbish the farmhouse to high environmental standards as well as some new buildings both for residential and community use.
