Why would you like to be elected to the role(s) you are standing for?
I am standing for these roles because my life experiences give me a profound understanding of why the Scottish Greens’ fight for structural change is so vital. Growing up in Woodburn as the eldest of six to a young mother, navigating education with severe dyslexia, and managing a severe, ongoing battle with endometriosis, I have faced the exact systemic barriers our party works to dismantle. I am not someone who sits back, I am someone who fights for change and uses my voice. I want to bring this firsthand perspective and personal resilience to the committee ahead of the 2027 elections, ensuring our branch relentlessly challenges institutional failures and actively advocates for vulnerable communities.
What skills, knowledge and life experience would you bring to the role(s) you are standing for?
As a fourth-year law student, I have channeled my personal hurdles into high impact academic research, authoring independent legal analysis papers that expose the systemic failures surrounding neurodivergence in criminal law and endometriosis in medical law. This work proves I can dissect complex legislation, challenge structural inequality, and build robust policy frameworks. Furthermore, I know how to use the power of my words on a massive scale; I independently built a digital platform of over 9,000 followers dedicated to political literacy. I bring a rare mix of legal training, proven digital reach, and unstoppable grassroots energy. I am passionate about making scotland a country to be proud of, and allows for fair legislative systems.
