Why would you like to be elected to the role(s) you are standing for?
After our best ever Holyrood 2026 campaign, I am standing for re-election as Elections and Campaigns Officer.
I have almost 20 years of experience running and winning elections for Greens in Westminster, Northern Ireland Assembly, London Assembly, Scottish Parliament, European Parliament and local council elections.
It was a pleasure to help lead our successful Holyrood 2026 campaign. If re-elected I will help organise our 2027 city council election campaign and I hope to take us to our best ever result. Plans are already underway to make this happen, but I need your vote to be re-elected as Elections and Campaigns Officer.
As with last year, I stand for this role with zero ambition to seek elected office - only to elect others.
What skills, knowledge and life experience would you bring to the role(s) you are standing for?
Outside of Green politics I am a campaigner and writer working on shifting taxpayer finance away from fossil fuels towards clean energy, including leading the successful 2018-21 campaign to end the UK Government's multi-billion financial support for fossil fuel projects overseas, a world first. I am now campaigning with Oil Change International on an international agreement that emerged from this win. This agreement has so far shifted around USD $20 billion out of fossil fuels, freeing it up for clean energy instead. My non-party and party campaigning complement each other well, allowing me to bring different perspectives to both sides of my work.
