Hello! I have had the privilege of acting as branch committee Secretary for a few years now and I am seeking to be re-elected once more.

During my time as Secretary, I've really enjoyed the clearly defined role as it is, but it's also allowed me to pursue other interests within the committee like sup- porting by-election and Westminster campaigns. Whilst the remit of this role is administrative and secretarial duties, it has opened up avenues for me to learn things well beyond my role and expertise.

As our party grows and the faces on our committee change, I'd like to keep supporting that growth and provide stability for the new committee. If re-elected, I'm also open to role-sharing with anyone who'd like to learn more about the role.

As the current Secretary, I'm confident in my administrative and secretarial skills involved in this role. After holding this post for a few years, I'd like expand the admin support I provide to the branch committee to sub-branches, campaigns and the events & engagement group where possible. I'd also like to help track the progress of our branch strategy.

I have a solid understanding of how the branch functions, years of experience on the committee, and the ambition to broaden the remit of the role to fill support gaps where needed. I'm happy to answer any further questions members may have via email, slack, or social media.
