Tristan Gray

This will be my fourth time standing as policy officer for the Edinburgh Greens Party, having served in the role since 2018 when I first joined the party. I have supported policy development including on the fights against the far-right, Rewilding, and last year with education policy, every motion passing with overwhelming support. In the past year I have continued as one of the two Policy and Campaigns Officers, supporting the Holyrood election team in Lothians and standing as a candidate on the South Scotland list.

I have broad policy experience, implementing FOI legislation at Edinburgh Leisure, working with the Holyrood Public Petitions Committee, and serving as research and policy officer for the Chief and Foreign Ministers of Jersey. I am an experienced parliamentary campaigner having contested parliamentary seats three times.

I also serve as Convenor for the Our Republic campaign and am one of the organisers for the End Conversion Therapy campaign, ongoing efforts to change policy at a national level.
