Submitting your nomination
Complete your nomination form here | The deadline for submitting nominations is Tuesday 1 June.
To submit your nomination, you will need to provide a photo, statement (max 1500 characters) and a ranked list of the roles you wish to stand for. The annotated image below shows you how to fill out the nomination form.
We strongly encourage candidates to run for more than one role in the election. You do not need to submit multiple nominations for each role. You are welcome to use the statement to talk about your preferred role (ranked #1), or just explain why you'd be good for committee more generally.
You also require 2 supporters from the branch to support your nomination. If you are new to the party and would like help finding individuals to nominate you, contact the co-convenors on convenors.edin@scottishgreens.org.uk - we have a bank of friendly members who would be happy to help!

To do this, roles will be elected in pairs (as illustrated above - roles marked a) are paired together, roles marked b) are paired together, and so on), and each pair will require at least one woman to be elected. Note: if you are non-binary, we will be in contact to ask how you want to be treated in regard to gender balancing.
