Adam Harris

Hi, I’m Adam and I’ve just finished my second year of maths at the University of Edinburgh. I moved to Edinburgh last September and joined the party not long after, and have helped campaign in a council by-election and the Holyrood election since. Whilst I am a relatively new and young member of the party, I believe joining the committee would be a good chance for me to learn new skills and contribute more towards the party. This is why I am primarily running for Elections Agent.

I am no stranger to deadlines and I believe the past year at university in particular has helped me develop strong time management skills, and I pride myself in completing tasks to the highest standard possible while following whatever procedures are necessary. I may not have much experience relevant to the role, but I am more than willing to learn any skills required and go beyond what is expected of me.

Ultimately, I believe I have the right skills for this role and, where I don’t, I have a willingness to learn, and I would be incredibly grateful if given the chance to be on the committee.
