Statement
Hi everyone, thank you for reading my statement and considering me for a role in the Edinburgh Branch.
Last year I’ve been elected as the Events and Fundraising officer, and while the role was challenging at times, I think I’ve grown into it which allowed me to help organize some stellar events like:
Discussing the housing crisis with Living Rent and Patrick Harvie,
Worksop on unionizing your workplace,
Showcase of cooperatives,
Family event at Cammo Park.
I’m keen to continue the role as I have a few other ideas up my sleeves which I’d like to run with this year.
I’m also putting myself for the role as Treasurer, as after more of a decade working in finance, I could bring some knowledge to the role.
