Daniel Milligan

Last year I got involved with the branch as an ordinary member on the Policy & Campaigns team. After that rewarding experience am now standing for two officer roles. In the P&C team I have been facilitating the discussion around our public spaces campaign, sending out monthly reports from our elected representatives to our membership, and have also been involved with producing campaign material and canvasing for the recent West Edinburgh by-election. Aside from this, I've also been working with the communications team on some video editing and the social media. This year I would like to continue working with communications and hope to have the opportunity to work on accessibility standards and in supporting the sub-committee and our councillors in our comms goals. I think these should include publicizing Green Wins(R), getting the message out of all the great things we want to bring to the city, and standing by our values and support of marginalized classes, ethnic groups, gender/sexual identities, neurotypes, etc.
