Committee Nomination: Emily Frood

My name's Emily Frood, I've been a Green member for just over a year now, and I want to really get back into supporting Edinburgh branch in any way I can. I believe that I would be a great addition to the committee for a multitude of reasons. I have a large skill base which I have accrued from longtime voluntary work within the third sector - within LGBT organisations, and my time as an undergraduate - volunteering in my Students' Union. I spent a lot of time in my recently completed undergraduate degree prioritising my time, and often the times of others, to meet and organise to achieve our goals. The skills I possess and have developed both in and outwith the party are very easily transferrable and make me a perfect choice for EGP committee. It should also be noted I am a list candidate for Holyrood 2021, which I believe is further evidence of my skills, knowledge and experience within the party.
